How I Earned My First Million
At the age of 27, I already achieved my first million (or more). In this short article, I will be sharing three of the things I believe that led me to becoming a multi-millionaire at a very young age.
1.) It's All in the Mind
I know people who were born rich, but have a poor mindset. I know people who are born poor but have a rich mindset. In my case, it’s the latter. Though I was not born in a well-off family, it has not hindered me to dream big. With our financial status, dreaming of earning a million would have only been possible if I won the lottery or a reality competition or a game show on TV. But from the word mindset; “mind” and “set”, your limitation is where you set your mind in to.
Every morning, I tell myself in the mirror, “you will earn your first million today”. Every morning, I tell myself in the mirror, that I will earn my first million on that day. One day, I just had it.
2.) You Must Have Passion
No matter how great an opportunity comes to you, if you don’t have passion, you will not reach your goals. Though it’s important that you have vision, it must be coupled with passion. The road to success is hard. And if you don’t have passion on your way to achieving you dreams, you will give-up along the way.
Passion comes from the Latin root word, “patior”, which means to suffer. The amount of passion you dedicate to everything that you do is equal to the amount of success you will one day see grow.
3.) Action
With a clear vision and enough passion, the only thing left to do is action. Seek for opportunities; don’t wait for them to come to you. And once you’ve already found the industry/ venture which you think will bring you to the dreams you sought to, give it your all.
The only difference between an extraordinary and an ordinary individual is the word “extra”. If people on your work works 8 hours a day, do 10 hours, or 12 hours. Always give extra, for only then you will become extraordinary. Give it your all, your dreams are worth it.
Now, go and earn your first Million!
